Cachuma Lake Campout 2006

We had a very big turnout this year with members from VCASS besides our own members.
I would guess that somewhere around 45 Stargazers for the Saturday night Potluck and Viewing

This year the weather was nice and clear for a change. We also had 2 Iridium Flares within 1 min of each other both nice and bright around 6th Magnitude.
The flares where just after dinner and everybody Lined up to see the show.
When the first one when off there was a big roar from the crowd and when the second one flared I think they heard the roar in Santa Barbara.
